Advent Decoration

Recently all of the children worked to create lots of advent decorations for the school. The pupils had lots of fun making their decorations over one afternoon and, as you can see below, the results were fantastic.

Each class worked on their own theme to decorate the communal area outside their classrooms:

English KG - Snowmen / Winter scene

German KG - Shining stars

Grade 1 - Colourful stars


Grade 2 & 3 - Hanging and Window Decorations

Grade 4 - Christmas lights

During the build-up to Christmas, more decorations will appear inside the classrooms.

We are looking forward to having a wonderful advent period.

Unterwegs von Feldbach nach Uerikon hatten wir immer wieder einen herrlichen Blick auf den Zürichsee.

Nach dem Essen hatte wir Spass mit verschiedenen Spielen.
Müde und zufrieden kamen wir zurück. Einen herrlichen Tag durften wir miteinander erleben!

Handarbeit 3. Klasse

Unsere erste Arbeit aus dem Handarbeitsunterricht: Drachen der besonderen Art!

Handarbeit heisst nicht nur nähen und stricken... Arbeiten mit Papier, Holz und Ton gehören ebenso zum Programm wie textilie Techniken.
Warten wir gespannt auf nächste Arbeiten :-).

Assembly

Recently Grade 4 held the first assembly of the school year. The children presented a rehearsed poem call ‘Manners’ and also acted out short role plays. The role plays showed our pupils how they should behave and show respect for others - both in the classroom and outside.

All of the children are now concentrating on helping each other, being kind and working hard.
